The Class of 2026 earned more college scholarships than any class we have on record! $15,669,717 were offered and $5,721,000 were accepted!

This year, students had the opportunity to engage in university-level research both as an EDGE capstone experience as well as the potential to earn college credit. They conducted robust research in a field of interest, wrote a research paper, created a poster presentation, and presented their work and findings.

This spring, 95.2% of staff reported that district culture had improved from last school year to this school year. 97.6% also reported that both transparency and communication had improved in 2025-2026.

After Mrs. Gasser and Mrs. Taphouse wrote a grant for a kit to build 20 bikes, our middle grades students learned how to build every part of a bike from scratch, test them, and then donated them to the students at Guardian Angel! Board member Brad Hood graciously donated the helmets! What an example of students, staff, and the community working together!

We know that involved students have a better chance of thriving academically and socially. Most of our Tigers are connected outside of the classroom in some way and we are proud to offer 51 clubs, athletic teams, or artistic groups for students to join!

After lessons from Mrs. Dirks, our 4th graders created empathy books through a collaborative SEL and Book Creator project, writing, illustrating, and editing their own stories. Then, they proudly shared their books with Kindergarten buddies, teaching empathy through reading and discussion—a wonderful example of leadership and kindness from our 4th grade Tigers!

Our business and university partners play a tremendous role in providing our students with meaningful experiences and skill-building for the future. This year, we had more partners work with our Tigers than any year on record! Thank you, partners!

Community partners have become an integral part of daily learning at Beechwood from K-12! This spring, our 2nd graders heard from a panel of NKY changemakers representing a variety of industries and backgrounds. Students gained insight into the paths these leaders took to create impact in their communities and then created a showcase featuring these changemakers!

Our Tigers demonstrate the components of The Beechwood Way daily! 664 students received awards this year for showing that we are safe, respectful, responsible, proud, fearless, resilient, pursuit of excellence, or reflection and growth.

An incredibly special aspect of Beechwood is P-12 students getting to be on the same campus. This allows for our peer mentoring program where our seniors have the opportunity to spend one period per day peer mentoring for a younger class. This provides not only great role models and support for our younger students, but our seniors learn as much from the experience as well!
