Our Tigers demonstrate the components of The Beechwood Way daily! 664 students received awards this year for showing that we are safe, respectful, responsible, proud, fearless, resilient, pursuit of excellence, or reflection and growth.
Our students are not only leaders in the classroom, but also on the field, court, gym, and stage! This school year alone, our Tigers earned 19 separate state championships individually, in groups, or in teams. This includes state championships in athletics, the arts, and other extracurriculars!
One of the many ways our staff can lead is through the rigorous process of becoming an EDGE Certified teacher. We just finished our 3rd cohort of teachers going through this process, reaching a total of 12 teachers who are leading this important work for their colleagues and our students!
89% of Beechwood faculty are Rank I or Rank II, meaning that they have earned at least a master's degree or an equivalent. 53% have earned at least 2 master's degrees or an equivalent. We are fortunate to have such a highly qualified staff serving our students!
Our staff members are leaders in the region and state! Just this school year, 12 staff have won or been selected for regional or state honors. We are proud of our Tigers and love to see Beechwood being represented well!
